Why Weirdly Indian Exists
Indian history is often taught through dates, dynasties, and large events. Weirdly Indian begins somewhere else.
It looks at the ordinary alongside the monumental—how cities were planned, how children played, how people wrote, stored water, traded, and solved daily problems. These details are not small; they are often where the most interesting questions live.
This project exists to document those questions, follow them carefully, and share the process of learning as much as the conclusions themselves.
